Spring 2021- April

I came over to Maine earlier this year as the weather was nicer. I removed the cover and found the boat to be dry this year. I removed the floor and got to work preparing the fuel tank. I screwed braces along the sides to hold up the floor. I then ran the new fuel filler hose from the fill to the tank. I dropped in the tank and got everything hooked back up. I put in a new floor joist over the tank.

I only spent a couple of days there as the weather was closing in. I did bring the floor home where I cut a new hatch in it to access the tank clean-out.

Here is the mostly finished floor with the fuel tank installed underneath. A new fuel fill hose was also installed.

I also am building a hard dodger. I bought a piece of FRP plastic and laid it over a mold and then put 2 layers of fiberglass matt and then 2 layers of 6 oz clothe over it.
